My dad and I headed out to my camp in Amasa, Michigan. When we got close to our camp I noticed a bird fly across the road. It was a Gray Jay!

The Chickadees were very hungry!

I guess they found are truck pretty interesting!

There were two Ruffed Grouse farther down the road.
After snowshoeing for a while we went and watched our camp bird feeding station.
I decided to play a few Gray Jay calls to see if they'd come in. Within ten minutes we had two eating bread!

Hi Alec,
Another good day for birding - the photos are great. The gray jays, chickadees & ruffed grouse were a special treat to spot at your camp. I'm sure the birding will get even better as the weather warms up - enjoy all you can!
