December 19th was the Marquette Christmas bird count. We had a couple of great birds. My group had 27 total species, the most of any group.

Yellow Breasted Chat. The most unexpected and rarest bird of the count
Barred Owl. Two great Horned owls and this barred owl were found by me and my dad on the morning of the count.
